AI calorie counter for Android

Snap a meal. Know your calories.

Take a photo, describe it or scan a barcode. Calorko estimates calories, protein, carbs and fat, shows how sure it is, and logs it to your day.

Why you can trust the numbers

From plate to diary in three steps

No weighing every ingredient, no endless searching.

  1. Ćevapi with chopped onion on a plate, with lepinja flatbread and kajmak next to it

    1 Snap or describe

Photograph your plate, say “two ćevapi in lepinja”, or scan the barcode on a package.

  2. Result screen in the app: ćevapi in lepinja with kajmak, 915 kcal, range 780–1,050 kcal, estimate high, portion slider

    2 Check the estimate

Calories and macros with a range and a confidence badge. Bigger portion? Drag the slider.

  3. Today screen with the day’s meals: cheese burek for breakfast, sarma and bread for lunch

3 Save it to your day

See what’s left for today and how your week is going.

Home cooking counts too

Barcodes cover what comes in a wrapper. For what comes out of a kitchen, the AI reads the plate and checks it against a food table with home-cooked dishes other apps don’t know.

Frequently asked questions

How accurate are the estimates?

A photo estimate is never a kitchen scale. That is why the app shows a range next to the calories (for example 480–620 kcal) and a confidence badge, and you fix the portion with a slider. For home-cooked dishes it uses a regional table with standard portions.

What do I get for free?

Three AI photo scans a day (meals or nutrition labels) on a lighter AI model than Pro's, up to 20 meal descriptions by text or voice per 24 hours, unlimited barcode, food search and quick add, the last 7 days of history, a streak that forgives one missed day a week, and data export as CSV. The free version needs no card.

Do you keep my photos?

No, unless you switch that on. The photo is sent for analysis and not stored; the "keep photos" option is off by default.

Which phones does it work on?

Android phones. The app launches on Google Play in early December. Sign up for early access and you will hear from me first.

Which languages does it support?

English, German, Serbian, Croatian and Bosnian. You can describe a meal in any of them.

How do I cancel Pro?

Google Play manages the subscription: open Google Play → profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions and cancel Calorko Pro. Pro stays active until the end of the paid period.
